These conventional brackets have proven their effectiveness. Made in Japan and manufactured with the high-quality standards you\u2019d expect from TOMY Inc. LEGEND\u2019s bracket slot is CNC milled for increased precision in .018″ or .022″ The bracket features large undercuts for easy ligation and torque in the base with micro-etching to limit potential debonding.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

CNC Milling<\/strong><\/h2>\n

After metal (MIM) or ceramic (CIM) injection into the mold an additional step is conducted with each of our self-ligating brackets.<\/p>\n

This step involves milling each slot to guarantee its precision. The process, called CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled), is the best way to ensure an exact slot size of .018\u201d and\/or.022\u201d.<\/p>\n

For consistent milling the milling blade is changed after every 1000 brackets.<\/p>\n

Our brackets perfectly express the programmed torque and angulation for predictable results.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Color code<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The distal-gingival color code allows an identification of the bracket to prevent bonding errors. For some prescriptions, these color codes may be different on the bicuspids.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
